Floating Heads Installation by Sophie Cave at the Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum in Glasgow. Cave created over 50 of them, each displaying different emotions including laughter and despair. The heads are completely white, but are lit so that their expressions are accentuated, which gives the installation a somewhat eerie feel.
A beautiful simple portrait lightly edited.
Not your stereotypical 'car' shot. A vibrant b&w edit – with a splash of colour restored – then polished in DXO. I think this might be my favourite edit...
A different take on the 'car' shot. A cinematic bleach bypass edit. Shot on Fuji X-T4 with Fujinon XF16-55 | 50mm | ISO 160 | 1/30s | f5.6.
You have to want to meet master craftsman Gareth Duncan, known for his Dirks and Sgian Dubh – the traditional Scottish single-edged knife worn by clansmen - tucked away in the wilds of Skye as he is. He keeps alive a national Scottish artform known to a select few admirers of Scottish antique weapons and fine celtic jewellery. Duncan House is a shrine to all that is magnificent in this traditional craft. Shot on Fuji X-T5 and FUJINON XF16-55mm F2.8 R LM WR. The images were edited in DXO PhotoLab and NIK Silver Efex. ISO 2,000 | f8 | 1/125s | 55mm. See blog post for full story.
